Animations

The Sikhlens Animations division is a newer part of our work, but we have been exploring animation for many years. Animation allows us to tell stories that cannot easily be shown through live filming.

In the past, creating 2D and 3D animation was very expensive and time-consuming, so only a few projects could be made.

Even with these challenges, Sikhlens has produced animated short films and feature projects to share Sikh history and stories.

Today, new digital tools and AI technologies are changing the way animation is created. Films can now be made faster and at a lower cost.
Sikhlens is using these tools to turn books, short stories, and historical events into animated films.

This allows us to create more educational and cultural content for the community.

One of the main goals of the Animations division is to create learning resources for children in the Sikh diaspora.

Many children attend Punjabi schools, but there is very little modern visual content available.

Our goal is to build a library of animated films that can help teach culture, history, and values in a way that is easy to understand.
